Flowers are captivating in the eye, it signifies joy and love. It puts colors in the greyscale world. But beyond the charm and the fragrance a flower exudes when it blooms, it is also a harbinger of hope. Flowers are a symbol of growth. In life, we find ourselves stuck in places and situations that makes us feel hopeless. Sometimes, we get surrounded by negative energy, happenings, or even people that delays our progress and growth. But, to our surprise, even flowers can be found in the most unlikely places and still grow alone, even if no one notices or cares. A flower can grow in the worst environment and still bloom, so can we!This mural aims to send a message of hope for the eyes that glances on it. A gentle reminder that wherever we are at the moment, happy, contented, struggling, or losing hope, remember that just like flowers, wherever they bloom, so does hope.

I’m not a painter, I don’t really consider myself a religious person, and I don’t see myself fit to be a leader. Yet I was one of the few students given the task to design a mural, and lead a team that’ll bring it to life. Didn’t think I could do it. Didn’t know what elements to put, didn’t think I’d be capable of both finishing the design, and leading a team— pretty ironic considering that the quote I was given starts with “I can do all things.”The elements I put in the design somehow means something, even though it may not seem like it. The waves, and mountains represent hardships. The statue being purposely broken. The keyboard, skateboard, sports equipments, and the building mean literally anything—anything. Even when a certain want, or dream seemsabsurd, like a person riding a whale in space. All we need is a little bit of help, and support. It may be from the God, or gods we individually believe in. Our family, and friends. Sometimes, even strangers.

My artwork serves as a visual representation of the boundless opportunities that may come once we embrace the belief that "it’s never too late to get good at something." It captures how our personal growth and journey empower us to pursue new skills and passions, break free from all the self-imposed limitations that it's "too late" to do something, and finally see the boundless potential within ourselves. As the girl runs, persistent and pressured, while the time passes, the numbers behind her are not seen anymore. showing that all of our doubts, fears, regrets, and missed opportunities fade into the past. She embraces her past and the valuable lessons she has learned from it, yet her unwavering determination prevents her from being bound by the weight of the past, pushing her forward on her journey. The numbers beyond her drift away; they are the boundless opportunities and limitless potential that lie ahead. Yet, these floating numbers carry a gentle reminder, urging us not to be overwhelmed or burdened by the uncertainties that the future often carries. Rather, my mural encourages us to release that anxiety and stay grounded in the present, tethering ourselves to be here and now, immersing ourselves fully, and cherishing every passing moment that shapes our lives. In a generation where people are often discouraged with phrases like "you are already oldfor that," "you should've done this earlier," or "it's too late to start," this artwork encourages many to pursue their passion and break free from the constraints of time. The pursuit of excellence is a timeless endeavor. To seize each new day as an ongoing passage of growth, discovery, and continuous learning.Unlock your boundless potential and shatter the chains that bind you. Embrace the belief that it's never too late to thrive, as my artwork reminds us to seize each moment, break free from limitations, and let our passions soar towards a future filled with limitless opportunities.

As creatives, this quote rings true for every artist, and we can all relate to it. Creativity is essential for all people, and it comes naturally to us whether we believe it or not. Whether you consider yourself an artist or not, you will be astonished to discover that your mind is brimming with ideas. However, putting those ideas into action and releasing your creativity into the world requires a lot of guts and boldness. It would take a lot of bravery to open your creativity to being valued, appreciated, and loved while also being criticized, judged, and rejected. The world is vast, as is the scope of your creativity. It takes courage to not listen to what the world says; to express yourself through your art, to transcend the boundaries of your comfort zone, and to push away your irrational fears, and to stay true to who you are in order to create what you believe in.This is for everyone; it is not too late to show your creativity to the world, even if you are old and weary. Show them and blow their minds. Do not be afraid to reveal your creativity; take courage!

The quote by Martin Henry Fischer states that all inventions in the world start with curiosity, desire and inquiry in pursuit of greater knowledge. My art emphasizes the structure of a lava lamp. I wanted this art to envision a childhood memory. I remember being in awe whenever I see a lava lamp. It is so simple, yet so complexly beautiful. I was curious as to what it consisted of. It turns out it is nothing else other than a transparent electric lamp containing a liquid that is brightly coloured, suspended in a waxy substance, rising, falling, and constantly changing its shapes. It relates to the quote in a way where the mind is not the same as It was. Every day we inquire about intel from different perspectives, and we argue and agree on different values and situational crises. Even so, have no choice but to merge into another shape with another person. You, me, and everyone else on the planet are not so different from a lava lamp, we are falling and rising constantly, and we all realize it, some of us break into smaller chunks, but in the end, we have to face everything even though it seemed like we are forced into another group. We have no choice, but to rise and then fall. That’s how the cycle goes.
